How can I stop my son from peeing everywhere when he sleepwalks?
My son is 9 and even when he’s awake, he manages to pee all over the outside of the toilet. But he also gets out of bed overnight and pees in strange places! He has peed in the bath tub, the laundry hamper, on the floor of his room, etc. At first I thought he was being devious but we caught him up one night and he really seemed to be a in a trance. Fortunately he seems to stay on the second floor of the house and we have a security system so we’d know if he tried to go outside. We thought at first that our poor old cat was peeing everywhere and I was considering having her put down. Any tips on how we can stop this?
Either set an alarm or wake him up yourself so he can go pee before he does it in his sleep. Regarding peeing all over the toilet, they used to sell little targets that could be placed in the toilet, I’m sure you can still find them online somewhere.
