How to Make You Own Holiday Gift Baskets and Your Friends and Family Smile Brighter

The holiday season should be a time of cheer, but shopping for gifts can cause unnecessary stress especially if you are on a tight budget like millions of Americans.

For a spa gift basket, include one bubble bath or shower gel, a loofah, a pair of white slippers, a scented candle, a face towel (maybe even with a letter monogram), and a body lotion. All these wonderful bath products can be purchased for about $50, if you want to spend less than that, skip the face towel or slippers.

If you wrap either product in a basket with a few other dental products, you can transform it into a luxury gift basket. Include a toothbrush case, an elegant case for the whitening or night guard tray, a small mirror adorned with a few rhinestones and a small picture frame. Make sure the ribbon is color coordinated with the items in the basket so that they don’t clash. For the holiday, if you are going to use red or green colors, consider using dark berry, ruby or emerald tones, rather than the traditional bright reds and greens. Rich berry, ruby red and emerald colored ribbons are perfect for the season and will make your gift baskets look more elegant and sophisticated.
