Fruit Tower

If God is perfect and his creations perfect, why did he fail several times?

He had to impose suffering upon the human race because Adam and Eve defied him by eating of the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Failed!
He had to flood the planet 1,600 years later wiping out all but eight humans. Failure!
He had to confuse human language after Nimrod and the Tower of Babel incident so that they could not effectively communicate with each other. Failure!
How is this a track record of a perfect being?

My question is this. Why did God create a creation at all? The whole idea of God feeling the need to create anything at all just comes off as goofy to me. God didn’t have to create anything. Was God bored? Was it for entertainment purposes? Why did God create people? So they could worship him around the clock? Is this God insecure? If God is all powerful then why does this God allow suffering in the universe? If this God is all powerful then this God can intervene at any time. Suffering doesn’t have to happen at all. The only reason why it happens is because God wants it to happen. It is because God allows it to happen. God doesn’t have to be a vengeful God. God chooses to be a vengeful God. I am not even sure I want to meet a God who allows all of this suffering to occur. I am not sure I like that God.
