where to buy champagne online for delivery to Vancouver the next day?
I have spent ages this evening… but I can’t find any .ca online store that will allow me to buy [online] a decent bottle of sparkling wine or champagne for delivery in Vancouver by Saturday…
can anyone suggest anything short of phoning Canada and ordering over the phone [I am in the UK]??
Being not only a Canadian and having worked and lived in Vancouver B.C in the 1980’s, it is not the policy of the BCLCB (British Columbia Liqour Control Board) to delivery spirits, they have the total control over the sale and distribution of those items, so for you to get it delivered to someone in Vancouver, your first would need to know someone there, get them if they over 19 yrs old to purchase it and then have it delivered, the taxi service will do it if paid up front, but to mail or have it couriered is a bit pricey.
Even here in Ontario were I live now it is not done, because of the legal drinking age and laws on transportation of spirits and hazardous materials, so unfortunatley your not going to be able to do it, send the person or persons a card with a note and a monetary amount (Money order, VISA cheque) to purchase it for themselves.
