Opening A Gift Basket Store
Please help me get ideas for a balloon store?
I am currently working on opening a balloon store. I don’t want to do the fancy balloon sculptures just yet. I only want to sell balloons and make small decorations with them. I also want to sell greeting cards. What else would be nice to add. Gift baskets, candy hummmm I need help. There are no balloon shops around my town but just selling balloons and cards will look rather plain and boaring. Please help I know you guys and girls are smart on here, U have great minds….
Make it a store people will LOVE coming into!!! People will come to you for balloons for parties and special events, so why not sell some party supplies as well?? Such as some pretty celophane gift bags, or the single color m&ms, baskets, little trinkets and maybe party favors??? Then they can get all of their shopping needs taken care of at your store instead of going to multiple ones. Also, why not do a monthly drawing and the person whose name is drawn gets $10 off their next purchase or gets 5 free balloons? Also, remember to keep your quality high and your prices low, because you will be competing with other stores like party city and party supermarket! Just some ideas, good luck!
