Picnic Food
What is a good picnic food besides sanwiches?
I’m going on a picnic lunch sunday with my gf. What is a good food we can pack for a picnic that is NOT sandwiches? Sandwiches are typical and suck and I hate them because I’m never full after eating them.

Instead of sandwiches try some salads – If you use mayonaise in the dressing it needs to be kept cool(out of sun and maybe on ice).
Rotissire Chicken at the local Supermarket.It can be cold or Hot depending on how you like it.
Coleslaw, Potatoe salad are the basics.
How about a Broccoli Pasta Salad – Broccoli, Pasta, Raspberry Vinegrette salad dressing, some bacon cooked, maybe some picked beets, and red onion.
Or a Fruit salad with cutup pieces of your favorite fruit. Nectorines, peaches, pinappple(Canned), plums, apple pieces an Grapes. Stay awa from strwberries(they get soft) and bananas as they turn brown.
Chicken Salad made with Baked chicken or rotissire. Seasoned with some Praprika OR chili powder.
Chicken Tenders with Grapes(green) Candied Pecans, Cranraisans, Apple pieces, and lettuce. Its a salad California Pizza kitchen Sells. withblue cheese dressing.
How about Buffalo chicken wings. with Celery and Blue chees dip.
How about Chips and Salsa
Or Pita chips and Hummus dip.(both avaialbl in the supermarket
or cheese and Crackers..
Instaead of Sandwichs use wraps. Use ranch dressing instead of mayo, ue ginger marinade as a flavor change. instead of mustard use Horseradish cream.
Cupcakes for dessert.
