trying to find some good books as part of wife’s gift…?
But not sure what to get…she enjoys Sydney Sheldon but are there any “romantic” books out there that some wives have read and think would be a good book to be part of a nice gift? Also including a CD with some of her favorite songs, Basket of wine/chocolates, jewelery, perfume and prolly massage certificates and/or theater tickets. But I’d like to include some good books. FYI, been married over 5 years, everything is going wonderfully…just at a loss for the female perspective of the intelligent portion of the gift…
Books is the one area I do not really know her. I tried to get her to read some classics (I was an avid reader, Dostoevsky, Kafka, Poe etc..). She was uninspired, but she DID like Sheldon. Other than that, she isn’t really active, although she has expressed interest. So prolly Ruggedly romantic to get her reading again. Stay away from the family stuff…maybe a little more racy.

She likes romance novels? Do you know what type of romance? There are lots of subgenres and some readers are very picky about sticking only to historical romances, or only to family saga romances, etc. Does she go for the really racy ones, or for the more tame ones that are more about the love than the sex?
