Small Wicker Baskets
What should my bun, Simon, have?
I have a dwarf mix bun. He’s about 4 pounds. I am looking for cage accessories for hi. Right now he has a hanging wicker basket that has a hole cut in the side for hay and fruits/veggies, his ugly food bowl, a 8oz water bottle thats too small, and a clothing box from christmas as a litter pan. Please list things I can get for him from Petsmart.com. I’m building him a C&C cage (see guineapigcages.com for reference) and plan on having a 3×2 two story closed cage.
Hey, I reckon you need to get bun some toys! He’s probably BORED! Toys help them to not be bored and stimulates brain activity!

You should also get him a proper litter box, not just a clothing box. He’ll probably rip it to shreds if its paper!

(or you could just use hay or pine shavings)
Okay, next bunny needs some bedding! You could try using hay/straw, or pine/aspen/cedar shavings as bedding. They are both great! Although hay generally starts to stink after a while, whereas the pine shavings absorb the pee and your bunnies hutch still smells good.

Next, if bunnie’s “ugly food bowl” is light and easy to tip over, i’d reccomend getting a heavy earthenware dish for his food otherwise he might tip his food over and starve.
