Do they have Oreos and 3 Musketeer bars in Japan and do they taste the same?
I am traveling to Japan on a high school exchange program and am supposed to bring American gifts to give my hosts. I’m wondering whether they have Oreos there or if anyone has another suggestion of food items or other things that are unique and well recieved in Japan. Thanks

If you’ll be coming in the summer months, you may not want to bring chocolate, it’s hot here and it melts quickly… If it’s not summer it’s ok.
I live in Tokyo but go back and forth often. I just bring things from my state CA., See’s chocolates in the cool months, California wines, Pistachio nuts, Macadamia nuts, raisons, prunes, key chains, magnets, bookmarks, pens, mechanical pencils, postcards, calenders, picture books…
Bring things from your state, it’ll be fine.
The kids that stay with us do the same.
