Unique Thank You Gift

I’m looking for a simple but unique Thank You gift for my 6 year old son to give Santa.?

I’m trying to find simple ways to teach my son about giving and would like to include Santa. Santa Claus is always giving my son wonderful things and I think he would enjoy giving something to Santa in return. We will be going on a train ride a few days before Christmas where Santa boards the train and I want to have something small for my son to give to Santa. Any ideas? (Please serious ideas only!)

Here are some ideas:

1) go to the fabric store and buy an 1/8 of a yard of fleece. (cost under 3 bucks im sure) let your son cut the short edge into fringe strips and then tug on them-they will curl and not fray and ba-boom he has made santa a scarf (that santa may actually use if its in a guy color/pattern!!)

2) take a baggy and put some oatmeal in it for the reindeer.

3) have your son put together a bag of toys/clothes/mittens that he doesn’t wear anymore…take them to a charity and get a receipt. have him make a card and give santa the receipt. santa will no doubt be impressed!

4) look up a claydoh recipe and have him make an ornament for santa.

5) help him bake cookies…deliver some to santa and bring some to church or to a nursing home and take pictures to give to santa!
