Valentine Gifts For Kids
Americans, help please!!! Do you give your kids Valentine’s cards and gifts?
I live in Australia and my daughter’s dad is in America. She is five years old. He has sent her an elaborate Valentine’s card full of hearts and love poetry, and now he has texted me that he wants to call her especially on Valentine’s Day. Is this normal, or is it weird and creepy? Thanks for any help.
Well Valentine’s day is a pretty big deal over here, i don’t think he is creepy he just seems like a really loving father! I remember when i was younger my parents used to give us all a bag of candy that’s it but i remember even our teachers at school made all the kids valentine’s day cards and they would give us all candy and stuff. When i was younger my best friends parents would give here big elaborate gifts like singing cards,they would send her balloons and flowers to her school and give her bags and baskets full of candy and things like that. Its pretty normal over here i wouldn’t worry about it. He sounds like her really loves his daughter!
