Wicker Baskets With Lid
Please help me with this?
I have a small, brown, wicker basket with lid that I’m using for my 1 yr. old’s toy box for our living room. Anyhow, my fear is that because it’s brown, I won’t be able to see if any spiders or other bugs crawl up into it. Is there anything you recommend me doing to keep them out of it. The last thing I want is my daughter getting bit by a spider or anything else. Thank you!
I didn’t ask for your opinion of if I’m too protective or not. It never ceases to amaze me how people do not answer the question, and instead do the complete opposite. No, I do not have a bug problem…if I did, I would have asked about that instead. For anyone who knowsss what I’m talking about, the little cracks in wicker would be a great spot for a spider to hide. Just wanted to know if there was something I could put inside the basket to keep them from going there. But since I’m over-protective and silly, I’ll ask someone that is mature and can give me an answer instead of being rude and judgemental.
I’d have to agree with the others, paint it white. Depending on the type of spiders you have, if the box is used a lot more than likely spiders won’t hang out. The Brown Recluse likes to be away from movement, and people.
