Wicker Shopping Baskets
Food gets mouldy really quickly in my flat, don’t know what to do.?
I would like to go shopping about once or twice a week but any vegies I get that I put in the fridge, the fruit I place in a wicker basket on the table which is out of the sun, bread I put in the fridge, because if I have it out for 3 days it already has mould on it. It’s getting rediculous as I keep having to throw things out so quickly after buying them and go out shopping so much. Is there something wrong with the house that everything gets mouldy so quickly or is this normal? When I lived with my parents, things could stay in the cupboards in containers for weeks and nothing would happen to them.

i only havea little bit of advice here, and that’s to do with bananas.
i don’t know if you know it, but bananas give off a chemical which ripens all other fruit around it. so if you have the bananas out with the other fruit, it will over ripen it and yes it will rot quicker than usual, the best thing to do is to put the bananas in a paper bag, or eat them first!
you CAN put fruit in the fridge by the way!!! fruit shouldn’t really be exposed to too many elements once it’s picked. bananas go brown in the fridge though (but i can’t STAND warm bananas so in the fridge they go too lol).
i definitely think you should get rid of the wicker basket 
just get some fake fruit for the table, it’ll look JUST as real, and you won’t have buy new fruit before you can enjoy it’s sweet, sweet goodness
